Decent overall weather for the weekend. Rain in the mornings but dried out after the morning sessions. The scenery and Fall colours in the Fingers Lakes are always great. We always try to see some of the wineries and have at least one meal at the Seneca Lodge.

I made my first trip here in 1968 to see the US F1 Grand Prix (J. Stewart won with G. Hill and Surtees also on podium). This exact first weekend in October used for this VRG event was the old USGP F1 weekend back in the day. It's especially great memories for many of us. My car did have some engine problems this weekend so we were pretty distracted and didn't get as many videos and photos of some groups as we would have liked.
